The National Brownfields Training Conference is the largest event in the nation focused on brownfields revitalization and economic redevelopment. The heart of Brownfields is the dynamic educational program of speakers, discussions, mobile workshops, films and plenaries calibrated to provide public and private sector brownfields stakeholders with successful case studies highlighting proven approaches to community revitalization, state-of-the-art assessment and cleanup technologies, financial strategies, regulatory program updates, including legislative and legal policy revisions, and public-private partnership strategies for meeting community revitalization and brownfield challenges head on.
You are invited to submit ideas for thought-provoking educational sessions that encourage conversation and participation from fellow attendees! A great session will motivate brownfields stakeholders to engage, learn, and share experiences and knowledge of community revitalization challenges and solutions.
A priority of the National Brownfields Training Conference is promoting diversity and raising awareness and understanding among our attendees and stakeholders of the vital role diversity plays in our communities and our economy. Therefore, we request that proposed speaker panels contribute to this mission. Diversity across our speaker population contributes to enhancing participation, inclusion and leadership opportunities for Brownfields stakeholders of diverse backgrounds. When our speakers and moderators reflect a diversity of backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual preference and tribal affiliation, we enhance our ability to educate our attendees on how diversity impacts the communities affected by Brownfields.
